Scholarship Success

A St. Als student has again won an All-Ireland Scholarship Award, based on her outstanding performance in Leaving Cert 2011. Four years ago Mr. J.P. McManus, Limerick entrepreneur, with his wife Noreen, endowed a ten year scholarship scheme which pays all the winners' undergraduate fees and expenses. One hundred and twenty awards are made each year to students from all thirty-two counties of Ireland. St. Als is proud to have produced a winning student in each of the four years of the scheme to date, enabling recipients to pursue studies in Dentistry, Medicine, and Law.
Summer Building Upgrades

Work on St. Als during the Summer months included 99 new windows fitted to enhance energy efficiency & give a clean new look to classrooms.
High Tech Classrooms

In early 2011, multimedia projectors & PCs were installed in all classrooms, labs & school library. Students can now benefit from a high tech learning environment throughout the school.

In addition we offer the optional LCVP (Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme)
